When You Reach Me...Some Questions



1) On pages 95–96, Annemarie admits to having epilepsy and needing a special diet. Why do you think she ignored her special diet while she was with Miranda and Colin?

 2) . On page 106, the laughing man turns and runs when he sees Marcus. Then Marcus says this has happened before. Why do you think the laughing man runs from Marcus?

 Do all your answers in complete sentence answers  in Microsoft Word and check it with WORD TALK.  Use all your COPS skills and include as many dressups as you need to make your answers as interesting to read and as descriptive as possible.

    Maybe Annemarie ignored her diet because she wanted to seem like a normal kid that doesn’t have a special diet and didn’t want them to know that she had epilepsy.
    Because the laughing man is Marcus in the future and when you go back in time and see you self you can’t talk or make eye contact with yourself because you could tell yourself something that could change what happens in the future.

    1. I think Annemarie was egger to go on a diet because she wanted to show off and get all the towns attention.
    2. I think the laughing man ran away when Markus said this has happened before! Because, the laughing man probably has been through that if things are things what are going to happen to him or Markus, and if one or another bad or good thing might happen and change something what the laughing man might like or might feel sorry or guilty about!?

    2. Maybe the laughing man saw Sal get punched so he got scared of Marcus and ran.

    1.Annemarie probably didn’t want Miranda or Colin to think she was weird.
    2.I think the laughing man runs from Marcus because the laughing man is Marcus and when you time travel you can’t be in the same space as your past or future self.
