I think that the apple did change because you can tell that Jonas was quite surprised when he saw the apple. What I think happened was that a worm was in the apple or that some type of bug was in it and because they think that animals are imaginary they would not know that there was something in the apple. I got this idea from page 25.-Jaden

I don’t know what happened but I have a question. Is the book in black and white or something? That’s what I don’t get. Well if the movie or book was in black or white then the apple I think would have turned to red, green or yellow. That’s just my opinion. page 21

I think the apple could have changed if one side of the apple was a different color then when he looked at the apple he looked on the other side, or maybe his eyes were playing tricks on him because his friend didn’t see the apple change.

I think the apple was changing because of their grip how hard it was. Or how he got selected and he could see things that he sees different but everybody else would not see that because the don’t have the pale eyes and all the other people with non pale eyes would not see the same stuff as him. I think what happened was that Jonas’s eyes were tired because he might have just waked up. I think it changed and became more round like a perfect circle maybe it changed because it had been miss seen. Or maybe it had been changed from Asher dropping it
